Crestchic Loadbanks is pleased to announce the appointment of Alex McFie-Hyland as Business Development Manager for the UK Midlands and North Rental Division, the latest step in a period of significant growth for the business.
This year has seen Crestchic continue to invest heavily in people, products and premises. Earlier this year, the company signed the lease on a new 93,000 sq. ft facility in Burton upon Trent, more than doubling its manufacturing footprint and bringing manufacturing, engineering and logistics together under one roof. That investment at home has been matched by expansion abroad, with new premises opening in Sweden to serve the Nordic data centre market, followed just weeks later by a new depot in Melbourne, Australia. Alex’s appointment strengthens the European Rental Sales Team at a time of growing demand for loadbank rental across the UK and Europe.
Alex joins Crestchic with almost two decades of business development and key account management experience across the industrial, construction and infrastructure sectors. His career includes senior sales roles at JCB, where he managed government and municipal accounts across the UK, as well as national business development positions at Sunbelt Rentals UK and Elliott, an Algeco Company.
In his new role, Alex will be responsible for rental accounts across the Midlands and the North of England, while also supporting the wider sales team across the UK and European rental markets.
Paul Cotton, European Head of Sales – Rental, said: “We’re excited to welcome Alex to the team. He has a great understanding of the rental market and a long track record of building lasting client relationships, making him a fantastic addition to our European Rental Sales Team.”
With new facilities, new markets and new talent joining the team, Crestchic is well placed to meet growing global demand for reliable, high-capacity load testing solutions, and Alex’s arrival marks another positive step on that journey.
